Ballet - Beginner Ages 17+

About this event

Ballet Beginner is Keshet's beginning ballet class, which includes an in-depth examination of the fundamentals of ballet. Warming up with the use of two hands on the barre, students will train rigorously, attempting plié, battement tendu, battement degagé, rond de jambe à terre, battement frappé, adagio, and grand battement combinations. Across the floor, students will learn basic means of ballet locomotion, port de bras, and allegro steps. The focus of this course is introducing the fundamentals and history of ballet while building body memory, alignment, and strength. Adult Ballet I is perfect for novices or people wanting to focus on perfecting their technique.
