Gentle Flamenco

About this event

Gentle Flamenco is designed for adults ages 50 and older who would like to experience the joy of flamenco in a welcoming, supportive, and age-appropriate environment. Whether you are new to dance or returning after many years, this class emphasizes healthy movement, musicality, confidence, and enjoyment while respecting each student's individual abilities and goals. Classes move at a comfortable pace, allowing students time to develop strong technical foundations through the Conservatory's Spiral Learning approach. Each class reviews previously learned material before introducing new concepts, helping students build confidence while accommodating the realities of busy lives and different learning styles. Students will discover the beauty of flamenco while improving balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, rhythm, posture, and overall well-being in a positive and encouraging community.
