Bailaores: Kayla Lyall, Andrea Lozano, Carlos Menchaca; Cantaor: Vicente Griego; Guitarrista: Mario Febres
An intimate evening of live flamenco, presented by the National Institute of Flamenco, a 501(c)3 non-profit, inside of Hotel Alburquerque.
Experience the energy of flamenco at Tablao Flamenco Albuquerque!
NEW: You can now purchase Spanish Boards to snack on while you enjoy the flamenco shows on Sunday.
Schedule of Events: Doors open at 2:15 PM. Guests should arrive no later than 2:45 PM to be seated and served on time. Performance will begin at 3:00 PM with a no intermission. Shows last about 50 minutes to an hour. All ages welcome to the Sunday Matinee!
What to Expect: The full dinner service is not available for Sunday shows, but you can now order a Spanish Board (charcuterie board). If you do order the board, it will be delivered to your seat prior to the show start-time. Drinks available for purchase throughout the evening. Once the show is over, the staff will come by to deliver your check if you've ordered any alcoholic beverages. For everyone's convenience, we kindly ask that guests remain seated until their bill has been settled. Gratuity on food is included in the listed dining price.
Please Note: Show times and performers are subject to change due to the nature of the art form. Tablao performances are dependent on ticket sales. If a performance does not reach the required sales, it may be canceled. In that case, guests will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule for another show.
During the Show: We encourage our audience to applaud and call out "¡Olé!" when inspired. Your energy fuels the artists on stage! You may notice that the performers are also clapping - this is called "tocar las palmas," a rhythmic hand-clapping accompaniment that is an essential part of flamenco. While we love enthusiastic audiences, we ask that you please avoid clapping along with the artists, as the palmas are an intricate part of the music and dance. Your applause and encouragement at the right moments mean the world to our performers! To ensure everyone enjoys the performance, please keep conversations to a minimum during the show. Photography and brief video are welcome during the opening or closing number, but please refrain from filming afterward so our artists and guests can stay fully present in the experience. The MC will let you know when it is okay to take photos & videos.
