- ➤ Southern New Mexico experienced a winter storm Friday night that left 5,000 Ruidoso customers without power when ice froze tree branches on power lines & turned to snow. Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham approved emergency funds for shelter, health care, and transport as forecasts warn of hazardous roads tonight. Albuquerque Journal
