- ➤ The ‘From The Heart’ exhibit displays more than 20 paintings, ceramics, and mixed media pieces by N4Arts Initiative students with developmental disabilities, on view through March 29 at Nob Hill Storage (4100 Central Ave. SE). The art features Valentine’s Day themes along with motifs of friendship and family. KOAT
- ➤ A 25-foot-tall sculpture named Tumbleweed was unveiled Saturday at the Rail Yards Market, honoring architect Antoine Predock’s legacy in Albuquerque. The artwork will be moved to Central Crossing (near Route 66) as part of the Rail Trail project. KOAT

- ➤ The Division of Student Affairs is hosting open forums with three finalists for UNM’s director of campus recreation. Calvin Diggs will lead the session Friday, Feb. 20, 3–3:45 p.m. at SUB Isleta while Zachary Hammerle and Jason Werle will present discussions via Zoom on Feb. 24 and Feb. 25 at SUB Lobo B. University of New Mexico

- ➤ New Mexico Environment Secretary James Kenney said the state will keep working on climate solutions after the EPA revoked a long-standing rule on greenhouse gas emissions, as the change may open enforcement gaps and face legal challenges. Albuquerque Journal

- ➤ Seven Western states missed a deadline (their second) to agree on a plan to conserve Colorado River water amid severe drought, with some officials proposing major cuts.
