  • Warner Bros. Discovery has until Feb. 23 to reopen takeover talks with Paramount Skydance after receiving a seven-day waiver from Netflix. The strategic move follows a December deal from Netflix and may boost local film investments behind studios in Albuquerque & the southeast part of town.  KOAT

  • The College of Education and Human Sciences (COEHS) ranked 221 for Best Online Master’s in Education Programs and saw a 56-spot climb, marking it as the state’s top online teacher education program. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • New Mexico PBS named Phil Hoffman as its next general manager and CEO effective April 1 and he will begin on March 24 working alongside retiring Franz Joachim to ensure a smooth transition; Hoffman brings over 20 years of public media experience from Ball State PBS + Indiana Public Radio.  University of New Mexico
  • In September 2014, former candidate Gary King and running mate Deb Haaland flew on a jet arranged by Epstein’s company for a Washington meeting (flight logs and emails confirmed the charter details). Haaland’s campaign said she was unaware of Epstein’s involvement.  Albuquerque Journal
