- ➤ On Sunday, kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt at Isotopes Park where plastic eggs filled with candy replaced the old hard-boiled egg tradition + young hunters danced and showed off their bounties. KOAT
- ➤ At Joe's Farm along Rio Grande Boulevard, Joe Ornelas and Lisa Fontanarosa hosted a lavender plant sale over Easter weekend that sold out and will offer three varieties—Grosso, Phenomenal, and Provence—next weekend for locals seeking a calming, garden-inspired boost. KOAT
- ➤ La Ventana in UNM’s Student Union began a pilot Fare Share program last month that lets students with a Lobo ID pay any amount for a meal, with extra funds supporting the Lobo Food Pantry + 79 meals have been served at an average of $4.77 per meal. New Mexico Daily Lobo

- ➤ The Natural History Museum reopened its doors Saturday, Apr. 4 after seven months of renovations including new skylights, a redesigned lobby, and rearranged exhibits. - ➤ UNM alum Travis Davis, who uses crutches due to cerebral palsy, shared his journey toward self-advocacy and strength and will speak at DisruptHR on April 20 in Albuquerque. He urges students with disabilities to pursue big goals while finding community to drive change. New Mexico Daily Lobo
- ➤ Hope Montoya and Owen Salinas were named the next president and vice president of the Associated Students at UNM after 1,408 ballots were cast in the spring election (Montoya received 581 votes and Salinas got 567). - ➤ Marisa Page was elected president of UNM’s Graduate and Professional Student Association after winning 135 votes to 120 over incumbent Travis Broadhurst in the election that ran March 23–27. - ➤ On Thursday, Apr. 2, the UNM Latin American and Iberian Institute hosted “Venezuela After Maduro” featuring New York Times journalist Simon Romero, who reviewed Venezuela’s political changes after Maduro’s capture (his career spans reporting in Latin America).
