- ➤ Bernalillo County & Silver Horizons are offering free groceries for low-income seniors and veterans throughout April. Eligible participants 50 or older should bring proof of age and can pick up groceries today at the Extension Building on Menaul Boulevard from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. KOAT

- ➤ Albuquerque’s Cardboard Playhouse Theatre Company will host a 24-hour livestream fundraiser from 5 p.m. Apr. 11 to 5 p.m. Apr. 12, streaming online and at The Box Performance Space—aiming to raise funds for its first permanent home with performances by students, alumni, and local artists. - ➤ US News and World Report released its 2026 Best Graduate Schools rankings today, showing several UNM programs in the top 100 with Nursing Midwifery at No.7. The rankings underscore UNM’s longstanding role in training nurse-midwives — a key link in local healthcare. University of New Mexico
- ➤ UNM Food and Aramark opened a new food truck pad on North Campus on April 6 next to the golf course off Tucker (near Yale Blvd.) to offer a rotating lineup of local vendors for breakfast and lunch, supporting convenient dining for students, faculty and nearby health care workers.
