CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Albuquerque's Route 66 visitors center is now open with a Centennial Roots exhibit that celebrates 100 years of the Mother Road. The center is free to visit on Thursdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and hosts free concerts with food trucks and breweries on Saturdays. KOAT
- ➤ Publisher Bill Lang unearthed a time capsule buried in October 1981 at the pressroom in Journal Center — it holds coins, maps and a 158-page Sunday edition that captured the paper’s history. The find comes as the paper plans to sell the campus after moving printing to Santa Fe. Albuquerque Journal
