  • Albuquerque police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Southwest Albuquerque on Sunday.  Albuquerque Journal

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • A 'Bill of Right' for guardianships was unveiled today after data showed that more men than women held legal guardianships last year and that most guardianships involved those aged 31—50. The report also mentioned four people as part of its findings.  Albuquerque Journal
  • A lawsuit alleges that NMCD kept inmates in (abhorrent) living conditions. The suit claims the department did not provide safe, clean housing (legal review is underway) and seeks court-ordered improvements.  Albuquerque Journal
