  • Riders will pedal 64 miles from downtown Albuquerque to the state law enforcement memorial in Santa Fe for the annual ride honoring officers who lost their lives—this year adding a tribute for Bernalillo County Sheriff Sergeant Michael Schlattman—to benefit police counseling services.  KOAT

  • Albuquerque’s Solid Waste Management, partnering with Keep Albuquerque Beautiful (and Clean Harbors), hosts a hazardous waste disposal event at Balloon Fiesta Park to help residents discard items like gasoline, paint, and lithium batteries; hazardous waste is also accepted at the SWD Safety Clean facility on Girard Boulevard.  KOAT
