  • Visitors to Jordan Hot Springs in the Gila Wilderness had a close encounter with a bear that charged hikers, harassed campers, destroyed a tent, and entered hot springs while people were using them—New Mexico Department of Game and Fish advised everyone to avoid the area while it investigates the incident.  KOAT
