- ➤ Police are investigating a possible murder-suicide after an elderly man and his wife were found dead in their home on the 3000 block of Toreador Drive NE Tuesday morning—evidence from the scene suggests the deaths may have been self-inflicted. KOAT
- ➤ Albuquerque police are investigating after a woman was fatally shot behind a business on Central Ave NE when officers responded to a call at 9201 Central Ave NE and took her to a hospital where she died—no suspect details have been released. KOAT
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ UNM's Center for Teaching and Learning and UNM Online honored online instructors in spring with the Golden Paw Award, the highest recognition for online teaching, awarding winners a stipend (of $2,000) while instructors who completed a Foundational Course Design Review earned $500 per course (recognition tied to best practices).
