On Saturday, the Rio Grande Valley Blue Star Mothers delivered 400 care packages to U.S. troops deployed overseas who will miss Fourth of July celebrations (the group plans another delivery event in November).

Kevin Wilson, founder of Native Boba Tea, launched the E'e'aah Night Market for Native vendors at 9521 Central Avenue Northwest six weeks after opening the Indian Market; the event ran from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday and he hopes it will become a weekly chance for secure local business.
