- ➤ Part of Central Avenue in Albuquerque was closed due to a police situation—police blocked the westbound lane near I-25 and the eastbound lane near High Street, so drivers used Dr Martin Luther King Jr Ave or Lead and Coal Avenues as alternatives. KOAT

- ➤ The UNM Art Museum will host the 2025 AAMG Conference from June 24-27 at UNM’s Main Campus, inviting museum professionals and students from across the country with workshops, panels, and an opening reception featuring keynote speaker Deb Haaland and a special dance performance by the Tai Soon Burgess Dance Company. The event will also offer professional development trips to local museums and exhibits—showcasing new partnerships and first-time student planners as it marks the largest conference in AAMG history. - ➤ U.S. Rep. Gabe Vasquez on Tuesday condemned a GOP proposal to sell millions of acres of public lands, saying they must stay protected for the people. - ➤ Martin Beltran filed a petition in Santa Fe court on Monday to order state police to release records regarding his nephew Jesus Rubio’s Jan. 6 shooting death—state police have yet to provide an explanation for the delay. Source NM
- ➤ Albuquerque approved contracts to expand shelter and outreach services for vulnerable residents such as the homeless and survivors of domestic violence. The contracts — totaling over $900,000 — will fund street outreach, referral services and safe housing starting July 1 and running until June 2026. KOAT
- ➤ Albuquerque passed an ordinance on Tuesday to ban hemp-derived THC products above 0.3 percent, sponsored by Councilor Dan Lewis and enacted without Mayor Tim Keller’s signature.
