- ➤ Kei & Molly Textiles, a local business that makes recycled products, offered three $500 scholarships to college-bound first generation immigrant students from Highland High School amid cuts to education funding. - ➤ On Wednesday, UNM staff and faculty volunteered at the Collaborative Teaching and Learning Building to register nearly 400 new students after a tragic death on campus last week led to a suspension of orientation following a shooting—volunteers from various campus departments assisted both in-person and online to ensure students left with a class schedule.
