  • Pacific Fusion has selected Albuquerque for a nuclear fusion energy facility and will build a 225,000-square-foot plant in Mesa del Sol to develop fusion energy for electricity.   • UNM’s Tamarind Institute will hold community events to teach lithography, featuring Pulitzer Prize-winning Raven Chacon.   • Albuquerque mayoral candidates have offered their views after the federal government urged the city to end its immigrant-friendly policies.   • The UNM women’s soccer team beat UTEP 4-1 in an exhibition on Aug. 7 to kick off their preseason, although the win did not count toward their official record.
