Carlos Antonio Perea was arrested on drug trafficking charges after officers discovered several packages of fentanyl in a duffel bag and on two spare tires during an August traffic stop, and his arraignment is set for Friday, Sept 5—legal experts warn he could face many years in federal prison. - ➤ The New Mexico State Fair in Albuquerque will begin in two days and organizers will offer park and ride service from the Coronado Center to ease heavy traffic. For $10, visitors can ride a bus for five to ten minutes until midnight on weekends—Mega Passes cost $40 for admission and unlimited rides while general tickets range from $10.50 to $15.50 based on age.
