  • University Stadium in Southeast Albuquerque sold out on Saturday afternoon—its first sellout in nearly 20 years. The event drew large local crowds and marked a historic sports milestone.  Albuquerque Journal
  • University of New Mexico rallied past New Mexico State on Saturday at University Stadium to win the Rio Grande Rivalry—quarterback Jack Layne threw four touchdowns to help his team overcome a halftime deficit and secure a final score of 38 to 20.  Albuquerque Journal
