- ➤ Federal officials warn a government shutdown may occur if lawmakers do not pass a spending bill by Tuesday night — over 20,000 federal employees, national labs and tribal nations may face pay and service delays. - ➤ UNM Hospital celebrated the ribbon cutting for its new 570,000-square-foot Critical Care Tower on Sept. 26—attended by university officials, state and federal representatives, and hospital leadership.
