EDUCATION NEWS

  • UNM graduate students showcased their research during the annual LoboBITES competition held as part of Research and Discovery week, where more than 60 students competed for one of 12 presentation slots. They had three minutes and one slide to explain projects ranging from nasal immunity in fish to film industry stereotypes—making science easy to understand.  KUNM

SPORTS NEWS

  • UNM is considering its first bid for the Mountain West Championship—officials are reviewing team eligibility and performance before final decisions are made. The school will confirm its plans once all criteria are met.  Albuquerque Journal
  • Bloomfield won its second consecutive Class 4A football crown by overcoming a brief 90-second period of close play during the championship game against St. Pius — decisive plays secured the title.  Albuquerque Journal
