- ➤ Albuquerque Little Theatre presents A Christmas Story: The Musical — a fun show about Ralphie’s quest for a Red Ryder BB gun — at 224 San Pasquale Ave. SW from Dec. 5 to Dec. 24. The play runs Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m., inviting local families to enjoy a fresh take on a beloved holiday tale. The Paper.
- ➤ Carmella Scorcia Pacheco— a UNM postdoctoral fellow— joined Cameron Goeldner on the 'It’s (Probably) Not Rocket Science' podcast to talk about the deep roots and traditions behind farolitos and luminarias in New Mexico. - ➤ Author Nasario García released Martíneztown, 1945, a book that draws on his personal memories of moving from the Río Puerco Valley to Albuquerque in 1945 and facing early challenges in an old barrio — his work preserves the voices and struggles of a community marked by hardship and hope.
