Youth Bata

About this event

Youth Bata de Cola introduces students to the fundamental techniques of dancing with the traditional flamenco bata de cola (train dress). Designed for students in Youth Flamenco 4, this class emphasizes proper body mechanics, strength, coordination, and technical precision while preparing young dancers for more advanced bata de cola study. Because dancing with a bata de cola requires exceptional balance, posture, and lower-body strength, enrollment in Youth Ballet is required. Ballet provides the alignment, stability, and technical foundation necessary for safe and successful bata de cola training.
