Ballet - Intermediate Ages 17+

About this event

This intermediate class requires permission to register. Email laura@keshetarts.org Adult Ballet - Intermediate takes beginning ballet steps and interprets them in more advanced ways. Warming up with the use of one hand on the barre, students will train rigorously, mastering the plié, quickly memorizing complicated battement tendu, battement degagé, rond de jambe à terre, and battement frappé patterns, and performing développés and grand battements in proper alignment. In the center, students use ballet body positions to perform battement tendu and complicated adagio combinations. Students will dance pirouette combinations with consecutive turns across the floor. Allegro work will challenge students with basic petit and grand allegro combinations. Adult Ballet II is a challenge for dance novices and any level of dancer wishing to perfect basics and build strength
