Albuquerque Concert Band: Christmas Time at the KiMo!

About this event

The 2026 Creative Bravos Award Recipient Albuquerque Concert Band (ACB) will be performing a free holiday concert at the historic KiMo Theatre in downtown Albuquerque!

Are you ready for some holiday cheer? Are you ready to have a great time? The ACB is ready and is looking forward to putting on a show the entire family will enjoy!

Our conductors, Jim Keene and Andrew Vaughn, have chosen some great holiday music that the band can’t wait to play for you! The program will include music from the Nutcracker Suite; How the Grinch Stole Christmas; A Charlie Brown Christmas, and the popular holiday classic, Sleigh Ride!

We are pleased to announce that we will have a special guest host for the concert! Mr. Zoltan Csanyi-Salcedo is the news director from KKOB radio and he will be joining us as our MC! Zoltan will also be narrating “’Twas the Night Before Christmas”. This special piece is narrated while the band plays!

Some of our band members will trade in their instruments for their singing voices as they lead the audience in a sing-along with the band!

We encourage everyone to put on your festive holiday garb and come and enjoy an hour of music and merriment as we perform your holiday favorites!
