The Wrap

Albuquerque's Carlos Garcia is rescuing vintage neon signs from Route 66 and restoring them, and his collection is full of flashing bulbs and moving neon. He and his brother Ed have been collecting for years, inspired by their mother, who fell in love with neon after arriving at UNM in 1955. It started with oil cans and small gas pump signs. Quite a glow-up.
