- ➤ A Trans Day of Visibility celebration is taking place today and was preceded on Sunday by local events organized by the SouthWest Solidarity Network. The Sunday activities included a rally at Robinson Park at 5 p.m., a march to Tiguex Park at 5:30 p.m., and a drag show starting at 6:30 p.m.—organizers said the events called for dignity, safety and justice for Trans people. - ➤ A motorcyclist died after a collision with a vehicle Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Wyoming Boulevard NE — Comanche Road as the Albuquerque Police Department’s fatal crash team was investigating the scene. KOAT

- ➤ New research from UNM’s Anderson School of Management found that work-family conflict comes in three parts—time, strain, and behavior—and that treating them as one issue may hide key differences. - ➤ The University of New Mexico holds shares in three companies—Flushed 04, Sludge, and Tefflawn Toilet—that remove toilets from buildings, leaving bathrooms with exposed sewage pipes and a strong gas smell; these investments provide funds for scholarships and internships despite protests from students and faculty. - ➤ University of New Mexico Parking and Transportation Services has stopped issuing parking citations amid internal pressures and public mockery—its director said the agency was wrecked, and campus parking has become chaotic as drivers take advantage of the lack of enforcement.
