Albuquerque voters were asked about an arts center, an ACS chief and the public safety tax
The Morning Albuquerque team
If you voted in Albuquerque, you ran into three questions at the very bottom of the ballot. One asks whether to repeal the City Charter section that bars the city from spending more than $10 million on a performing arts center. It was supposed to be on last year's ballot, but a clerical error kept it off, and no one noticed until early voting began.
Albuquerque's three ballot questions covered an arts center, ACS and the public safety tax
| Question | What it asks |
|---|---|
| Performing arts center | Repeal the section barring spending over $10 million |
| ACS chief | Elevate the ACS director to ACS chief |
| Public Safety Tax | Change how the tax revenue is split |

The third question is about the Public Safety Tax. APD's share would go from 34% to 35% and AFR's from 34% to 38%. Our reports don't include results.
