Officials said the money would pay for an estimated 30 to 40 projects over several years, without raising taxes, because older bonds are retired as new ones are issued. Potential work includes spots near the University of New Mexico, the North Diversion Channel, the South Valley, and Tramway Boulevard and Paseo del Norte.
- Project types: drainage basins, arroyo rehabilitations and new dams
- Bonds get sold in smaller amounts as funding is needed
- AMAFCA has operated since 1963
